​Anne Yannie Corrado (1912–2018) was a multifaceted artist, musician, and poet born in Belmont, New York. She earned a bachelor's degree in music from Fredonia State University College and initially taught in the Angelica School District. Corrado later moved to New York City, where her artistic talents flourished. She served as organist and choral director at the Church of St. Joseph in Yorkville for 47 years and was the music director of the Kolping Mixed Chorus and Laetare Singers. Additionally, she held prominent positions such as National President of the Composers, Authors, and Artists of America, Inc., and piano competition chairwoman of The National Society of Arts and Letters.

In the early 1940s, Corrado began painting, developing a distinctive style as a "colorist" in oil paintings. Her award-winning works were showcased in solo exhibitions and became part of private collections across the United States and Europe. In 1983, she received the Outstanding Achievement Award from the Fredonia State University Alumni Association, recognizing her distinguished personal achievements and service to society.

Corrado's creative expressions—whether through music compositions, poetry, or paintings—conveyed a richness of power, strength, and passion, reflecting her gracious and warm philosophy of life. Her legacy continues to inspire, with her works remaining a testament to her diverse artistic contributions.
